23 February 2024 – ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES), the retail electricity supply unit of Ayala’s renewable energy platform, ACEN, received an Anvil award for its impactful digital media program promoting renewable energy supply to businesses in the Philippines. The Anvil Awards, often referred to as the “Oscar Awards of Public Relations,” is organized annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP).

The award-winning digital campaign, launched early last year, aimed to persuade businesses and institutions across the Philippines to make the crucial shift towards renewable energy, and contribute to environmental conservation efforts on a global scale.

This achievement follows ACEN RES’ outstanding performance in the previous year, where the unit secured a Gold Anvil award for its brand introductory video, “Fireflies.” Additionally, the International Business Awards recognized ACEN RES with a Gold Stevie award in a ceremony held in Rome, highlighting the retail electricity supplier’s excellence in promoting clean and sustainable energy sources.

ACEN RES is the retail electricity unit of ACEN, an Ayala company with the largest capacity of new renewable energy in the country. Moreover, ACEN stands out as the sole Filipino-owned energy company with substantial renewable ventures throughout the Asia Pacific, including in Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and India.

In a landmark move for the region, ACEN unveiled a Net Zero roadmap in March 2023, positioning itself as the first Southeast Asian energy company to chart a clear course for emissions reduction by 2050. This plan signifies ACEN’s leadership in the renewable sector and its dedication to the global climate action effort.

ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES) is the supply retail electricity unit of the Ayala Group. It is a licensed retail electricity supplier and renewable energy solutions provider powering businesses and industries through the Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) and the Green Energy Option Program (GEOP).
